School of Wild Listening: Open Listening Group

The School of Wild Listening is running an open listening group to provide listeners the
opportunity to present their work.

What is it? An open call for anybody who would like to share insights of the wild and varied world around us through sound.
Whether you’re a total beginner or a professional, it is an opportunity for anybody who makes field recordings/soundscape compositions/ecological sound art or music of any kind to share their work and ideas and get to know each other in a casual and open listening group.

You can come to present your own work or recordings, or simply to listen and get to know other people and the work they do.

Ideally your work/presentations should be under 15 minutes in duration. Works longer
than 15 minutes may be considered if time allows. It can be as short as you like.
Everything is welcome and we’ll try our best to accommodate everybody who submits.

Works in stereo up to 8 channel audio are acceptable.

When is it? Tuesday 18th March at 8pm at Unit 44 (Kirkos) Stoneybatter, Dublin.
Doors at 7:30pm.
If you would like to submit a work please submit the details through the form in our bio
by March 13th.
