The Winners of the 9th West Cork Chamber Music Festival Composition Competition have been announced
The four winning composers are:
Shell Dooley for her score Hotel Del Salto, Victoria Johnston for her score Transience, Tommy Grace for his score changes, variances, mutations and Robert Coleman Phantasm.
The selected works will be premiered at the 2016 21st West Cork Chamber Music Festival (1 - 9 July) as well as being presented at the Festival’s Young Composers Forum, directed by Deirdre Gribbin, on Saturday 2 July. Each winning composer will be awarded a bursary of €500. The premieres will take place during the Festival in the Town Concert series on 4, 5, 6 and 8 July
